Facebook down for the second time in a week

Some of those trying to access the world's second most popular website on desktop computers were greeted with what appeared to be a default notice reading: "Sorry, something went wrong. Others were also unable to access the Facebook app, with iPhone users receiving a "network error" message. Facebook users quickly took to rival social networks, including Twitter, to flag up the stoppage.
