Can show PM's degree to court but can't expose it to strangers: Delhi University

The Delhi University has said that it was willing to show Prime Minister Narendra Modi's Bachelor's degree to the High Court, but it cannot be "exposed to the scrutiny of strangers". The response came during a hearing on DU's plea challenging an order of the Central Information Commission directing disclosure of information on the Prime Minister's degree. Solicitor General Tushar Mehta, appearing for Delhi University, told the High Court, "We have the degree, but we will not give it because we are not statutorily bound to do so.
