Internal feuds trouble ruling JMM-Congress alliance in Jharkhand

CONGRESS UNHAPPY The Congress reportedly feels that Jharkhand Mukti Morcha leader and Chief Minister Hemant Soren has sidelined it. Jharkhand Congress chief Rajesh Thakur told India Today before leaving for Delhi that Congress Jharkhand in-charge Avinash Pandey is upset after the chief minister did not respond to Congress’ plea to form a coordination committee and set a common minimum programme. INSIDE JMM Similarly, within the Jharkhand Mukti Morcha, two MLAs -- Lobin Hembrom and Sita Soren -- are opposing their own government on different issues. FIRs LODGED Earlier, an FIR was lodged by JMM leader Ramdas Soren who alleged that ex-party treasurer Ravi Kejriwal had worked with the BJP to topple the government.
