Luke Davies and Jesse Baird vanish, NSW police officer charged with murder, now attention shifts to finding couple's bodies

When a worker discovered unusual items including bloodied clothing in a skip bin near a club in Sydney's south this week, it set off an investigation that would lead to two murder charges against a serving NSW Police constable. Detective Superintendent Daniel Doherty, the Homicide Squad's Commander, said police will allege Mr Baird and Mr Davies were murdered in the Paddington property. Detective Superintendent Doherty said there were no "warning flags" in relation to Constable Lamarre-Condon's conduct. Superintendent Doherty said police would allege the murders took place on Monday during the day, before the van was hired at 9:30pm.
