But “the name of the game isn’t getting my name in lights, the name of the game is making sure we can live from our profession,” said the 42-year-old cattle farmer from southwest France. ‘Uncompromising’ Bayle’s friend Joel Tournier, a livestock and cereals farmer who joined the Carbonne roadblock, said that after his father’s death, “he promised himself he would turn the business into a nice farm”.
