Indiramma applications till December 31: Ponguleti
Deccan ChronicleHyderabad: Housing minister Ponguleti Srinivasa Reddy on Wednesday said that the state government had taken up the scrutiny of applications for the Indiramma Houses scheme in a strict manner to ensure all poor people get houses under the scheme. The minister conducted a video conference at the secretariat on Wednesday with Chief Minister's advisor Vem Narender Reddy and Chief Secretary Shanti Kumari on examination of Indiramma House applications, conduct of Group-II examinations, increase in mess charges, social survey and other issues. The minister said that the government received 80 lakh applications for Indiramma houses and acceptance of applications should be completed by December 31. The construction of Indiramma houses is a continuous process this year, the minister said, adding we are going to build 4.5 lakh houses.
