Chennai Metro Rail’s new dynamic route map aims to make travelling a breeze for commuters

Passengers boarding train no.103 on the 54-km Phase I Network of Chennai Metro Rail can catch a glimpse of a new dynamic route map, which displays details such as the nearest landmark, time, and speed of the train. According to officials of Chennai Metro Rail Limited, the train’s final stop is displayed at top of the screen, with the current and next stations at the bottom left. Chennai Metro Rail dynamic route map So far, the train only had 16 static route maps displaying the station names. Vijayalakshmi, a Chennai Metro Rail commuter, said the new map would be particularly useful for a first-time commuter.
