Transport Minister Inaugurates New Bus Services in Vizag
Deccan ChronicleVisakhapatnam: Andhra Pradesh Transport Minister Mandipalli Ramprasad Reddy inaugurated four new buses at the Visakhapatnam Depot on Sunday as part of his North Andhra tour. The new fleet includes one super luxury bus and three express buses, which will operate on routes connecting Visakhapatnam to Paderu, Vizianagaram, and Amalapuram. During the inauguration, the minister announced plans to expand the state's bus fleet, including an allocation of approximately 2,000 electric buses to Andhra Pradesh. “We will continue to prioritise their well-being and address their concerns promptly.” Gajuwaka MLA Palla Srinivasa Rao shared that a special committee has been set up to implement free bus services for women passengers, ensuring that this initiative does not impact the financial stability of the Road Transport Corporation.
