Innovation propels growth of Taishan Sports
China DailyThe carbon fiber racing bikes from Taishan Sports are on display at the Taishan Sports Museum. Taishan Sports, a sports industry group founded in 1978 and based in Laoling in East China's Shandong province, has grown from a small family workshop crafting sports mats by hand to a globally-renowned sports brand and a top-tier sports event operator. At the Taishan Sports Museum, a myriad of cutting-edge sports products, including the world's first carbon fiber gymnastics vault, a bicycle that has won the prestigious iF Design Award, an AI-integrated body measurement machine and a skiing simulator, are showcased. The carbon fiber racing bike developed by Taishan Sports' subsidiary, PARDUS, made its debut at the 2016 Summer Olympics in Rio de Janeiro, and is the first of its kind to be developed in China.
