Congress's 'Pyari Didi' scheme for women to counter AAP ahead of Delhi polls

Speaking at the launch of the Pyari Didi Yojana, Karnataka Deputy Chief Minister and senior Congress leader DK Shivakumar expressed confidence that it would win the elections and implement its promise. He assured that the Pyari Didi Yojana would be approved in the first Cabinet meeting and implemented if the Congress formed the government in Delhi. AAP'S MAHILA SAMMAN YOJANA SCHEME On December 12, 2024, AAP chief Arvind Kejriwal announced the launch of the Mukhya Mantri Mahila Samman Yojana, aimed at providing a monthly assistance of Rs 1,000 to the women in Delhi.
