From Ross’s hilariously awful impression of the “Starman” singer in “The One With All The Haste” while wearing an earring in bed with Emily to Chandler’s embarrassingly brilliant rendition of “Space Oddity” in “The One Where Ross Can’t Flirt” and Joey’s backseat, even more cringeworthy performance of the same iconic song in “The One After Vegas”, it’s safe to say the Central Perk pals are big fans of the late, great Bowie. The clip has now resurfaced following the news that Bowie “died peacefully” aged 69 on Sunday after being diagnosed with cancer 18 months ago, unbeknown to all but a handful of people. Bowie’s 25th album, Blackstar, was released on his birthday last Friday and has since been described as a “parting gift” by producer Tony Visconti.
