Taishan district sets up cultural tourism facilities for May holiday
China DailyAs the May Day holiday is approaching, Taishan district in Tai'an, Shandong province has been bolstering its efforts to develop self-driving tours, academic research tours, and countryside tours to create leisure vacation offerings integrating popular elements like minsu, camping, and music. For example, one of Shandong's provincial key villages for rural tourism, Anjiazhuang village in Tai'an's Taishan district, has added a new amusement park program for children and a camping base, based on its previous cultural tourism programs like agricultural products picking. Fishtail Lodge, a fine minsu cluster located at the foot of Mount Tai, features a countryside leisure vibe, while covering various business forms like fine minsu, traditional food, handicraft experiences, and popular afternoon tea. According to the camping park manager Nie Chunyang, the camping park will offer discounts on tickets and equipment rental during the May Day holiday, with the camps able to accommodate more than 200 people simultaneously.
