It would be deemed unacceptable in other workplaces, so why is there no accountability within SA's Parliament House?

ABC

The past parliamentary sitting week has given political observers yet another reason to shake their heads in disbelief. In any other workplace, the alleged behaviour would be a sackable offence — but that's not the case for those who work in Parliament House. Ms Franks said a case study referred to in the Equal Opportunity Commissioner's Review of Harassment in the South Australian Parliament, "originated from this evening and the Member for Waite's behaviours". One matter involved alleged sexual harassment by two Members of Parliament that then escalated to alleged sexual assault by one Member of Parliament. Following the Equal Opportunity Commissioner's report, steps have been taken to set up a HR department within Parliament House.
