Annie Guest : The Grattan Institute also urges the next government to stay the course on national disability insurance scheme reforms, including further clarifying eligibility to manage spiralling costs. Annie Guest : Grattan's policy blueprint has the backing of Professor Mark Kenny, the director of the Australian Studies Institute at ANU. Annie Guest : A government spokesperson didn't directly address Grattan's proposals, but in a statement pointed to tax cuts, lower inflation and higher wages under Labor, along with free TAFE, expanding Medicare bulk billing and urgent care clinics, cutting HECS debt and building more houses.
