Shots that killed Sydney man Mustapha Naaman meant for members of Hamze crime family, NSW Police say

NSW detectives believe two members of an underworld family were the intended targets of a deadly ambush that killed a Sydney father-to-be. Key points: Police say Mr Naaman was in the wrong place at the wrong time A grey 2018 Porsche Macan was seen travelling in the area before and after the shooting CCTV and dashcam footage has been released of a vehicle of interest and of the incident Mustapha Naaman, 29, was shot several times as he and another man got into their car, shortly after attending a boxing match in Hurstville on January 30. Police say two members of the Hamze crime family left the event moments before gunshots rang out in a carpark on Macmahon Street. "Ibrahem Hamze there at the boxing event — he was also there with another member of the organised crime network," Homicide Squad Commander, Detective Superintendent, Danny Doherty said. Police say a grey 2018 Porsche Macan with Queensland licence plates was seen in the area where the shooting took place.
