Swachh Sauchalay: Delhi gets 20 new modern, user friendly public toilets
The national capital on Wednesday got installed modern and user friendly public toilets made of high-end composite materials used in aircraft and high class rail coaches in 20 different locations, costing Rs.13 lakh each. Naidu said about 6.50 per cent of urban people use public toilets and the required infrastructure needs to be ensured in urban areas. The locations being provided with modern public toilets in East Municipal Corporation of Delhi are: Preet Vihar, Veer Sawarkar Hospital, Swamy Dayanand Hospital, DDA Market, Anand Vihar, Loni Road Petrol Pump, Seelampur Metro Station, C-12 Block and New Jaffrabad. In South MCD, the locations are near Uphaar Cinema, near DTC Depot Kalu Sarai, Munirka DDA Flats, near Fortis Hospital, near Nehru Place Metro Station and Nehru Place District Centre.
