LG launches LG G8 ThinQ and LG V50 ThinQ smartphones at MWC 2019
India TodayLG on Sunday February 24 introduced two new smartphones the LG G8 ThinQ and the LG V50 ThinQ at a special event in Barcelona ahead of the Mobile World Congress 2019 that is scheduled to kick off tomorrow. The LG V50 ThinQ, which is the first 5G-enabled phone by the Korean electronics giant, comes with a 6.4-inch Quad HD+ FullVision OLED display with an aspect ratio of 19.5:9 and it is protected by MIL-STD 810 military grade standard. In terms of RAM, the LG V50 ThinQ sports 6GB RAM and 128GB memory that can be expanded further using a 2TB microSD card. LG’s first 5G-enabled phone comes with a triple-rear camera setup with 16MP super-wide angle lens, a 12MP standard lens and a 12MP telephoto lens. In terms of connectivity, the LG’s G-series device sports 3G, 4G LTE-A, Wi-Fi 802.11, Bluetooth 5, NFC, USB Type-C. Additionally, the phone also has crystal sound OLED display technology, which turns the phone’s screen into a giant amplifier.
