5 dead after construction lift crashes in Mumbai's Worli

A construction lift crashed in Mumbai's Worli area on Saturday, killing five labourers on the spot. According to officials, some labourers got into the construction lift from above the ninth floor when it crashed and killed four of them. A Mumbai Fire Brigade team reached the spot and conducted the rescue operation and recovered the stuck labourer. Meanwhile, Maharashtra minister Aaditya Thackeray reached the spot and claimed that the lift got overloaded.
