Robust arrangements for 76th Republic Day celebrations at IGMC Stadium Vijayawada

Vijayawada: Chief secretary K. Vijayanand has directed officials to ensure extensive arrangements for the 76th Republic Day celebrations at Indira Gandhi Municipal Corporation Stadium in Vijayawada on January 26. In a review meeting held virtually from the State Secretariat on Thursday, he highlighted the need for tight security, seating arrangements, drinking water, sanitation, catering, and traffic control. Governor Justice S. Abdul Nazeer, Chief Minister N. Chandrababu Naidu, Chief Justice of Andhra Pradesh High Court Justice Dheeraj Singh Thakur, along with several ministers, MPs, MLCs, MLAs, and other officials, are expected to attend the event. The Chief Secretary also instructed the decoration of major government buildings such as Raj Bhavan and the High Court with electric lights for the occasion.
