Coronavirus outbreak: TVS Motor, Sundaram-Clayton announce Rs 30 crore contribution to fight Covid-19

TVS Motor Company and Sundaram-Clayton, both belonging to the TVS Group, have announced a contribution of Rs 30 crore to fight the spread of the Covid-19 pandemic. While TVS Motor Company is one of the largest two and three-wheeler manufacturers of the country, Sundaram-Clayton Ltd is a leading supplier of aluminium die castings to automotive and non-automotive sectors. "Our priority is to help the government efforts to contain and mitigate the effects of this pandemic," TVS Motor Company Chairman Venu Srinivasan said. TVS Motor Company and Sundaram-Clayton are using canteen kitchens in Hosur, Padi and Mysuru to make cooked food, which is being distributed to police, healthcare workers and essential services workers, in and around these places.
