Education budget 2022 should provide major boost to education but it is a disappointment: Student bodies

The union budget 2022-23 for the education sector has focused on digital learning and online education by setting up a digital university and a one-class one TV scheme. But, according to student bodies, it is a disappointment as the budget for 2022 will not provide a major boost to the education sector. Reactions of student bodies on union budget 2022-23 The Students Islamic Organisation of India has said that the union budget for 2022 has failed to grab the downward spiral of education. “The last two years of Covid-19 pandemic in the education sector has faced many ups and downs and we are hoping that budget 2022 will, provide to boost education and cover all losses but it has been a disappointment.” Terming the education budget as ‘Disappointing’, the National Student Union of India said that students were expecting the removal of education loans and scholarships and fellowship programs.
