An urban pond beneath a leaky Brooklyn fire hydrant has been replaced by a new makeshift aquarium. The pond was formed by a stream from the hydrant and has been expanded and decorated by Brooklynites. Volunteers hope to install a solar-powered filtration system and a heating system to replace the existing battery-powered system.
