Delhi govt, Khan Academy collaborate to conduct online maths classes for class 9 students
India TodayThe Delhi government made an announcement on Saturday, which stated that online mathematics classes for nearly 3 lakh class 9 students in the state will be conducted to help students cope up with their studies during the covid-19 lockdown. This is one of the many digital initiatives taken by the Aam Aadmi Party government which helps students catch up on their studies during the nationwide lockdown imposed due to the coronavirus outbreak. While announcing the joint initiative, he said,” The lockdown has hampered the studies of our students and so, our education department has been trying to introduce new ways to reduce this impact on the studies of the students and help them cope with the loss in academic activities.” Khan Academy will be designing mathematics lessons for school kids and sending them the link for the lessons via SMS from today.
