Telangana: New Mandals Raise Hope of Politicos Ahead of Local Polls

Adilabad: The government’s move constituting three new Mandal Praja Parishads such as Bhoraj, Sathnala and Sonala assumed political importance in view of ensuing local body elections in Adilabad district. Local people get the benefit of local administration instead of going to other mandals and district headquarters. BRS leader R. Ramesh said constitution of three new MPPs has raised aspiration among political leaders who hoped for a change in reservations of ZPTCs. Local people had been long demanding these new mandals.
