Deccan ChronicleNalgonda: Minister for irrigation and civil supplies N Uttam Kumar Reddy on Friday averred that Telangana witnessed development in all sectors in one year rule of the Congress. Along with minister for roads and buildings Komatireddy Venkat Reddy and minister for transport Ponnam Prabhakar, he inspected the arrangements for programmes to be attended by Chief Minister A Revanth Reddy at Brahmana Vellamla Project and Government Medical College building at Nalgonda on Saturday. He said the Chief Minister will present a progress card on one year rule of the Congress at the public meeting at Nalgonda Venkat Reddy said the Congress government resumed work on irrigation projects which were taken up by the earlier Congress government but cold-shouldered by the BRS government. Listing out the welfare schemes taken up by the state government, he reminded that 50 lakh families benefited from free electricity to domestic connections up to 200 units.
