Qingdao to open direct passenger flight to Kathmandu

From Sept 10, Qingdao Jiaodong International Airport will open a direct passenger flight to Kathmandu, Nepal, which will be the first direct flight from Shandong province to Nepal. The flights will follow the third passenger route to the Shanghai Cooperation Organization countries operated by the Qingdao airport after flights to Moscow and Dubai this year. The new flight route will further enhance connectivity between Qingdao and the SCO countries and better promote the construction of the China-SCO Local Economic and Trade Cooperation Demonstration Area, also known as SCODA. Qingdao Jiaodong International Airport now has resumed more than 20 international passenger and cargo routes to destinations such as Seoul, Busan, Osaka, Tokyo, Singapore, Bangkok, Dubai, London, Moscow, Sydney and Melbourne.
