Thief suffers epileptic attack during temple heist in Bengal, falls unconscious

One of the two thieves who stole utensils, a stove and a gas cylinder from a temple in West Bengal's Hooghly was hospitalised after he fell unconscious as people chased them, police sources said on Thursday. The locals were surprised to see the man trembling after he fell on the ground in an unconscious state after stealing from a temple in the Chuchura area of Hooghly district. Police reached the spot after they were informed by locals about the whole turn of events and took the unconscious thief to a nearby hospital for treatment, sources added. According to sources, an investigation revealed that the man was actually an epileptic patient, and he suffered an attack as he got nervous when a large mob of people chased him.
