Indonesia's Gen Z are struggling to find jobs. Is stereotyping or a skills mismatch to blame?

Despite graduating from a reputable Indonesian university with a master's in international relations, Indira Cader, 25, finds the job market "very hard". "I have previous work experience already and a master's degree and even I'm struggling to find a job," she said. But despite Indonesia heading in the right direction, Dr Rahmawati said it would take time for the "country to catch up". "There's always two sides to every story … a lot of us are pretty happy to take any job that's available," she said.
