Adityanath, Akhilesh engage in war of words over ‘bulldozer’ action
The HinduUttar Pradesh Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath on Wednesday said that not everyone can handle a bulldozer, adding that it takes brains and courage. The sharp retort came after Samajwadi Party president Akhilesh Yadav, while reacting to the Supreme Court observation on the demolition of houses using bulldozers, on Tuesday said, “Soon after the SP comes to power in U.P., all the bulldozers will turn towards Gorakhpur.” “Not everyone’s hands can fit on a bulldozer. One should have stamina and resilience to handle it,” said Mr. Adityanath, while addressing an event where he handed over appointment letters to newly recruited government employees. Mr. Yadav indirectly hit back at the CM challenging him to form a separate party and contest elections with a bulldozer as the election symbol.
