Vote BRS on November 30, LS polls to protect Telangana: KCR

Chandrashekar Rao on Thursday continued to press home his point of importance of regional parties and said it was important that the BRS was not only elected to power in the state polls but also gets all Lok Sabha seats to show its strength in Delhi and safeguard Telangana’s interests. Rao also predicted a coalition government led by regional parties at the Centre in 2024, claiming Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s BJP would not be able to secure a majority. At Adilabad, he started his speech by saying in Gondi, “Sandirkun Ram Ram.” Rao asked the people to elect the BRS candidates to protect and continue the Dharani portal, Rythu Bandhu scheme and 24-hour power supply to agriculture, claiming that the “Congress and its leaders Revanth Reddy and Uttam Kumar Reddy were openly opposing these schemes, while Rahul Gandhi was opposing Dharani portal.” He said the BRS would protect Telangana’s Ganga Jamuni tehzeeb by respecting all communities and working for their welfare. He said: “BRS government spent Rs 12,000 crore for the welfare of the Muslims in the past 10 years, against Rs 2,000 crore by the Congress in 10 years before the creation of Telangana.” Rao said that people’s voice was in support of Rythu Bandhu, the 24-hour power supply and the Dharani portal and this was the feedback from during his public meetings, questioning the Congress’ motive behind opposing these welfare schemes.
