No rift in KFPA, says Listin Stephen

Kerala Film Producers’ Association treasurer Listin Stephen tried to ease the ongoing rift within the body, saying that issues could be resolved amicably through mutual discussions. Differences had cropped up after Antony Perumbavoor, producer, questioned the announcement made by G. Sureshkumar, KFPA vice president, that the industry would go on strike from June 1 to press its demands. Mr. Stephen said on Saturday that Mr. Antony Perumbavoor would be at the forefront if a strike was announced by the association. He added that the association would firmly stand behind Mr. Sureshkumar as he had only voiced the unanimous decision taken at a meeting of film bodies to go on a strike.
