Boyapati's hidden agenda in showing AP CM as villain in Skanda
Deccan ChronicleSeasoned director Boyapati Sreenu seems to have a hidden agenda in having AP CM as villain in his latest offering 'Skanda'. No prizes for guessing since he has been an admirer of Nandamuri clan and has done promotional ads for former Chief Minister of Andhra Pradesh and TDP supremo Nara Chandrababu Naidu for many years. “Boyapati has directed over 10-odd commercials to promote Telugu Desam Party and its schemes and also boosted the image of former AP Chief Minister in his works,” says a source, who claims that Boyapati also directed Chandrababu Naidu during a documentary film of ‘Godavari Pushkaralu’ in 2015. He is shown delivering dialogues like a rogue than a chief minister and surely Bopayati could have scored a few brownie points as he also talks about ‘freebies’ but he didn’t have a good script to sustain interest of audience in ‘Skanda'.
