AAP’s Atishi hopes scholar work will help her shine in Assembly

New Delhi: In the Delhi assembly elections for 2020, the Kalkaji constituency was witness to a high-stakes battle between the Bharatiya Janata Party’s Dharamvir Singh, Congress’s Shivani Chopra and Aam Aadmi Party's Atishi. For Atishi, who has worked with the AAP Delhi government to reform the education system, this is her second election. Having been on the sidelines of electoral politics since 2013, Atishi contested elections for the first time last year in the Lok Sabha elections. Singh is a leader in the BJP state unit, while Chopra is the daughter of Congress Delhi president Subhash Chopra, who has represented the constituency thrice.
