A division bench of Chief Justice Abhay Oka and Justice Aravind Kumar on going through the prayers said "Since most of the prayers made in the petition relate to policy matters, it will be appropriate if the petitioner makes a representation to the concerned authorities who are empowered to take policy decisions on the subjects." The petition filed by DR. CHETAN KUMAR N.G a Pulmonologist had sought directions to the state government and Union government for the use of Pulse Oximeter and to avoid conducting unwanted swab tests, containment zones, seal downs, Night Curfew, etc and to develop a scientific approach in handling the pandemic and avoid unwanted chaos, fear, stigma in the community.
