Integrated de-addiction and rehabilitation centre inaugurated at Salem Govt. Hospital

Stalin inaugurated an integrated de-addiction and rehabilitation centre at Salem Government Mohan Kumaramangalam Medical College Hospital through video conferencing on Thursday. The Collector told reporters that to create a drug-free Tamil Nadu, the Chief Minister had inaugurated these centres in medical colleges in 25 districts across the State. Through this centre, psychological treatment would be provided to the drug addicts to make them fit enough to take up the necessary efforts to generate income for their families without falling back into drug addiction. Along with therapy, the centre also offered indoor sports facilities and alternative training methods like yoga.
