A controversy has erupted in Maharashtra’s Ratnagiri after a video of a group of men ramming the gate of a mosque with a tree trunk went viral. When the procession reached the gate of a mosque, some members of the mob allegedly struck the mosque’s gate with the trunk, breaking it open. Meanwhile, AIMIM leader Asaduddin Owaisi, sharing a video of the incident, asked the Maharashtra Chief Minister Devendra Fadnavis whether the government would take proper legal action.
