Kerala Police track down Kozhikode army man who went ‘missing’ during train journey

The Hindu

A police squad from the Elathur station in Kerala has tracked down K. Vishnu, the army man who was reported missing during a train journey between Pune and Kozhikode on December 17. Police sources said the youth who left the Pune Army Sports Institute after securing a few weeks’ leave had been staying in Bengaluru without contacting his family members as he was upset over some financial issues and did not want to share it with them. The investigation team visited the Pune Army Sports Institute for further verifications and record the statements of senior officers who worked with him to locate him, the sources said. The family members were reportedly unaware of any financial issues faced by Vishnu who joined the Army in 2016 with a good track record in boxing.
