Minister Surekha criticises BRS, defends Congress

Deccan Chronicle

HYDERABAD: On Thursday, Congress leader and minister Konda Surekha warns BRS leaders, urging them to stop making "constant and meaningless" attacks on the Congress government and Chief Minister A. Revanth Reddy. "If the Chief Minister were vengeful, many BRS leaders would have been behind the bars by now," Surekha added. Speaking at a press conference held at her residence, she stated that the Congress government was adhering to the law in investigating the wrongdoings of the previous BRS government and its leaders, stressing there was no intention to act beyond the law. It is time for the BRS to realise that people rejected it in the last elections, and its leaders must stop instigating people against the government,’ she said.
