ED identifies Iqbal Mirchi's 30 properties in UK, UAE, Mumbai worth over Rs 1,000 crore

ED identified Iqbal Mirchi's 30 properties in the UK, the United Arab Emirates and Maharashtra's Mumbai worth over Rs 1000 crore. In a crackdown on underworld, the ED on Friday arrested two associates of Iqbal Mirchi in Mumbai who were allegedly involved in securing the posh properties in Mumbai for family members of Mirchi. Third and fourth floor of the house, measuring 14,000 square feet, was transferred to Mirchi's family by Millennium Developers Private Limited in the year 2007 towards beneficial interest of Mirchi in the land. Nationalist Congress Party leader Praful Patel is also under scanner of the ED, who owns two flats in Ceejay House and is also shareholder of Millennium Developers Private Limited.
