Read our privacy policy Chick-fil-A has again ensured that customers who follow Lent will have a menu options to order with the return of the restaurant’s fish sandwich. Last week, the chicken chain confirmed that its seasonal fish sandwich - made with breaded cod fillets on a toasted buttered bun with pickles and tartar sauce - would be returning in time for Lent, which began on Wednesday, 26 February. “I love Lent season because Chick-fil-A have the fish sandwich option,” one person wrote on Twitter. Yum, best 40 days of the year!” Chick-fil-A is not the only fast-food restaurant that adjusts its menu to cater to those who abstain from eating meat during Lent as Wendy’s, Arby’s, and Bojangles all offer fish options during the religious period.
