Live LawTaking note of the allegations made by children of Brajesh Thakur that he is being tortured in Patiala Central Jail, the main accused in Muzaffarpur shelter home case, the Supreme Court has ordered his medical examination.Senior Advocate Vikas Singh had mentioned the matter at 12.55 pm before the bench headed by Justice Madan B Lokur and handed over a letter written by Brajesh Kumar. Taking note of the allegations made by children of Brajesh Thakur that he is being tortured in Patiala Central Jail, the main accused in Muzaffarpur shelter home case, the Supreme Court has ordered his medical examination. Senior Advocate Vikas Singh had mentioned the matter at 12.55 pm before the bench headed by Justice Madan B Lokur and handed over a letter written by Brajesh Kumar Thakur’s children Nikita Anand and Rahul Anand stating that Brajesh is being tortured physically and mentally in Patiala Central Jail. The Medical Superintendent, Rajindra Hospital, Patiala shall constitute a medical board who shall examine Mr. Brajesh Kumar Thakur and submit a report to this Court by Monday, 10th December, 2018,” the bench said in the order.
