Harassed by loan recovery agents, couple kill selves in Andhra Pradesh

Unable to stop the harassment of loan recovery agents, a married couple committed suicide by consuming pesticides in Rajamahendravaram in Andhra Pradesh’s East Godavari district. Colli Durga Rao and Lakshmi residing in Rajamahendravaram Anandanagar had recently taken a loan of Rs 50,000 through an online app for their needs. The loan recovery agents had allegedly said that if the couple didn’t pay back the loan, their morphed and nude photos would be posted online. The family members claimed that they committed suicide by drinking pesticides inside the Sai Krishna Lodge in Rajamahendravaram.
