IIT Kanpur creates portable oxygen bottle 'Swasa Oxyrise' for medical emergencies

As the second wave of Covid-19 wreaked havoc across the country, lack of oxygen triggered a major crisis. It has been made at IIT Kanpur Incubation Centre and is a portable oxygen canister. Sandeep Patil, an IIT Kanpur alumnus and Director of E-Spin Nanotech, told IANS, "In view of the Covid-19 crisis in the country, E-Spin Nanotech has created 'Swasa Oxyrise'. To fulfil the requirement of oxygen during the second wave of Covid-19, this device has been made at IIT Kanpur Incubation Centre. The demand for 'Swasa Oxyrise' bottles are rising from all over the country while its online sale has also been started on the company's website swasa.in During the 'Bhumi Pujan' of the Ram temple at Ayodhya, Prime Minister Narendra Modi wore a mask made by IIT Kanpur.
