Here's why B-schools must focus on grooming the future leaders

Premiere business schools across the world are trying to make the MBA curriculum more application-oriented by employing case studies, simulations, summer internships, and live industry projects that are a replication of real-life situations and go on to develop leadership skills. OFFERS KNOWLEDGE ON A WIDE RANGE OF SUBJECTS The liberal arts curriculum offers knowledge of a wide range of subjects and develops well-informed individuals with mastery of a range of transferable skills, such as decision-making, problem-solving, persuasion/ negotiation, synthesis, collaboration, networking, etc. The recent requirement of the industry to understand human beings better, and their social milieu to do business effectively has led to many reputed Indian business schools venturing into this field. IIM-Bangalore also plans to offer a four-year undergraduate program in liberal arts from 2023, creating a new generation of leaders who would be able to apply "multiple perspectives" to solving difficult problems in India.
