A stone figurine from the Ahilya fort located on the banks of the Narmada river in Maheshwar was also allegedly damaged when the sets of the film were being dismantled. Madhya Pradesh’s Culture Minister Vijaylaxmi Sadho has said that necessary action would be taken against those responsible for the incident. Earlier, the makers of Dabangg 3 received flak for allegedly hurting the religious sentiments of Hindus after photographs of a Shivling covered with wooden planks during the shooting of the film surfaced on social media.
