Sikh Volunteers Australia serves free meals amid cost-of-living crisis

Sikh Volunteers Australia chief executive Jaswinder Singh said the service was, once more, experiencing higher demand due to inflation. Inflation hits volunteer numbers nationally While commitment from team members like Mr Singh Brar was unwavering, Mr Singh said the organisation's volunteer base had felt the cost-of-living squeeze. New vans, food truck to bolster operations While inflation will likely continue to create challenges for non-profits into the new year, Sikh Volunteers Australia is entering 2025 bolstered by new equipment.
