Dharmapuri collector inspects basic infrastructure in remote hill hamlets

District Collector K. Shanthi undertook an inspection of basic infrastructure at the Irular colony in Eriyur block on Wednesday. She also visited the West Emanur colony and interacted with the residents, who placed various demands including toilet and road facilities. Later, inspecting the panchayat union middle school at Emanur panchayat, the Collector perused the learning outcomes and teaching outcomes of the students and urged the teachers to augment learning outcomes, especially in Tamil, English and Mathematics. She held consultations with the block development officials and instructed them to organise special camps to provide Aadhaar and other basic documentation and also fulfil the basic infrastructure and amenities.
