Medaram Jatara from February 21 to 24 next year
Deccan ChronicleWarangal: The priests of the Sammakka-Saralamma Jatara Pujarula Sangham on Wednesday announced that the mega tribal fair, the Sammakka and Saralamma Jatara, would be conducted from February 21-24, 2024 at Medaram in Tadvai mandal in Mulugu district. The priests, who held a meeting here at the temple executive office in Medaram, said the cleaning of the temple would be conducted on February 20 while the deities would be worshipped the next day. “A ritual followed at Medaram temple by the tribal priests where they would take back the gods to the forest known as Vana Pravesham, a culminating ceremony, of gods,” he informed. Gopal Rao has urged the district authorities to make all necessary arrangements following the arrival of scores of devotees to the tribal fair next year.
