Ayodhya: Pooling donations for Ram Mandir in one trust biggest challenge for government
India TodayThere have been a lot of challenges in the way of the construction of the Ram temple following the Supreme Court verdict on the same. This is a big task for the government to identify NGOs, samitis, trusts and akhadas, that have been collecting funds for several years in the name of Ram Mandir movement and its construction. Following the verdict to form a single trust to manage all the activities for the construction and functioning of the temple, now, the utmost priority of the government is to transfer the collected money from the different entities to the main trust. One of the biggest trusts, Ram Janmabhoomi Nyas, headed by Nritya Gopal Das is now under question over the fund issues. The main priest of the Ram Lalla Temple, Mahant Satyendra Das, claimed that `18 crore was transferred from the Ram Janmabhoomi Nyas trust and nobody has an account of it, sources confirmed.
