Prayed for Jagan to be CM again, says Roja
Deccan ChronicleKakinada: Tourism and sports minister R.K. Roja on Saturday said that the YSRC would return to power in the 2024 Assembly elections and that Y.S. She was addressing mediapersons after offering prayers at Lord Chalukya Kumara Rama Bhimeswara Swamy temple in Samalkot, considered a ‘Pancharama Kshetra’, and overseeing a national level south and west zone Weightlifting Championship at Adikavi Nannayya University at Rajanagaram. She said that she prayed “for the Lord to make Jagan Chief Minister again.” Referencing the championship, Roja said that Karnam Malleswari was the first weightlifter to get an Olympic medal for the country, while namechecking Kodi Rammurthy, among others, as a famous weightlifter. BC welfare minister Ch Srinivasa Venu Gopalakrishna said that Adikavi Nannayya University was established with the efforts of the former minister, the late Jakkampudi Ramamohan Rao, and the late chief minister Y.S.
